Rhomboid
A rhomboid is a four-sided shape, or quadrilateral, where opposite sides are parallel and equal in length. The angles between the sides are not right angles, giving the rhomboid a slanted appearance. Common examples of rhomboids include the shapes of certain types of parallelograms and rectangles when tilted.
In geometry, the rhomboid can be defined by its vertices, which are the points where the sides meet. The area of a rhomboid can be calculated using the formula: Area = base × height. This shape is often seen in various designs and structures, making it a fundamental concept in both mathematics and art.
