Rhesus Monkey
The Rhesus Monkey, scientifically known as Macaca mulatta, is a medium-sized primate native to South Asia. They are easily recognized by their brown or gray fur, pink faces, and long tails. Rhesus monkeys are highly adaptable and can thrive in various habitats, including forests, grasslands, and urban areas.
These monkeys are social animals, living in troops that can consist of up to 100 individuals. They communicate through vocalizations, facial expressions, and body language.
