Rh 양성
"Rh 양성" refers to the presence of the Rh factor, a specific protein found on the surface of red blood cells. Individuals with this protein are classified as Rh positive (Rh+), while those without it are considered Rh negative (Rh-). The Rh factor is important in blood transfusions and pregnancy, as it can affect compatibility between blood types.
In pregnancy, if an Rh negative mother carries an Rh positive baby, it can lead to complications such as hemolytic disease of the newborn. This occurs when the mother's immune system produces antibodies against the baby's Rh-positive blood cells. Medical interventions, like the administration of Rh immunoglobulin, can help prevent these issues.
