Reticulated Giraffe
The Reticulated Giraffe is a subspecies of giraffe known for its distinctive coat pattern, which features a network of light brown patches outlined by white lines. This unique pattern helps them blend into their natural habitat in the savannas and open woodlands of East Africa.
Reticulated giraffes are the tallest land animals, with males reaching heights of up to 18 feet. They primarily feed on leaves, fruits, and flowers from trees, using their long necks and prehensile tongues to reach high branches. Their long legs and necks also help them spot predators from a distance.
