Residential Assistants
Residential Assistants (RAs) are individuals, often students, who live in college or university dormitories to support their peers. They help create a positive living environment by organizing events, providing guidance, and addressing any issues that may arise among residents. RAs serve as a bridge between students and the administration, ensuring that everyone feels safe and included.
In addition to fostering community, RAs are trained to handle emergencies and conflicts. They often receive training in areas such as conflict resolution, first aid, and mental health awareness. Their role is essential in promoting a healthy and supportive atmosphere in residential settings.
