Resident Evil Movies
The Resident Evil movies are a series of action-horror films based on the popular video game franchise created by Capcom. The first film was released in 2002, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, and it introduced audiences to a world overrun by zombies and bio-organic weapons. The series follows the character Alice, played by Milla Jovovich, as she battles against the evil Umbrella Corporation.
Over the years, the franchise expanded to include six main films and several spin-offs, with varying storylines and characters. While the films are known for their intense action sequences and special effects, they diverge significantly from the original video game plots. In 2021, a reboot titled Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City aimed to stay closer to the source material.
