Rene Auberjonois was an American actor, director, and voice artist, born on June 1, 1940, in New York City. He was best known for his roles in television and film, particularly as Odo in the science fiction series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and as Father Mulcahy in the film M*A*S*H. In addition to his screen work, Auberjonois had a successful career in theater, earning a Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway production of Coco. He also lent his voice to various animated characters, including Chef Louis in Disney's The Little Mermaid. Auberjonois passed away on December 8, 2022.
