René Arnoux
René Arnoux is a retired French racing driver, born on July 1, 1948, in Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, France. He is best known for competing in Formula One during the late 1970s and 1980s, driving for teams like Renault and Ligier. Arnoux achieved notable success, including two Grand Prix victories and several podium finishes.
In addition to his Formula One career, Arnoux also participated in various endurance racing events, including the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. After retiring from professional racing, he remained involved in motorsports as a commentator and mentor, sharing his expertise with younger drivers.
