Regression Coefficients
Regression coefficients are numerical values that represent the relationship between independent variables and a dependent variable in a regression analysis. They indicate how much the dependent variable is expected to change when one of the independent variables changes by one unit, while keeping other variables constant.
Each coefficient corresponds to a specific independent variable, showing its impact on the outcome. A positive coefficient suggests a direct relationship, meaning that as the independent variable increases, the dependent variable also increases. Conversely, a negative coefficient indicates an inverse relationship, where an increase in the independent variable leads to a decrease in the dependent variable.
