Refreeze
The term "Refreeze" refers to the final stage in the Lewin's Change Management Model, which consists of three phases: Unfreeze, Change, and Refreeze. In this phase, the changes made during the "Change" phase are solidified and integrated into the organization’s culture. This helps ensure that the new behaviors and processes are maintained over time.
During the Refreeze stage, it is essential to reinforce the changes through policies, training, and support. This helps employees adapt to the new way of working and prevents regression to old habits. Successful refreezing leads to a stable environment where the changes become the new norm.
