Reflection Nebulae
Reflection Nebulae are clouds of gas and dust in space that do not emit their own light. Instead, they shine by reflecting the light from nearby stars. This light can create beautiful colors, often appearing blue due to the scattering of shorter wavelengths of light.
These nebulae are often found near young stars in star-forming regions. They can provide valuable information about the composition of the interstellar medium and the processes involved in star formation. Unlike Emission Nebulae, which glow from their own energy, reflection nebulae are primarily illuminated by external sources.
