Raymond IV of Toulouse
Raymond IV of Toulouse, also known as Raymond of Saint-Gilles, was a prominent nobleman in the 11th century. He was born around 1041 and became the Count of Toulouse, a significant territory in southern France. Raymond is best known for his role in the First Crusade, where he led a contingent of knights and played a crucial part in the capture of Jerusalem in 1099.
