Ranjani Shettar
Ranjani Shettar is an Indian contemporary artist known for her innovative sculptures and installations. Born in 1977 in Dharwad, Karnataka, she has gained recognition for her unique use of materials, often incorporating natural elements like wood and clay. Her work explores themes of nature, culture, and the passage of time.
Shettar studied at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in Bangalore and later earned her Master’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her art has been exhibited in various prestigious venues, including the Venice Biennale and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, showcasing her impact on the global art scene.
