Rak'ah
A "Rak'ah" is a unit of Islamic prayer, known as Salah. Each Rak'ah consists of a series of movements and recitations, including standing, bowing, and prostrating. The number of Rak'ahs varies depending on the specific prayer being performed, with the five daily prayers having different requirements.
During a Rak'ah, worshippers recite verses from the Quran, including the opening chapter, Al-Fatiha. The structure of a Rak'ah helps Muslims focus on their connection to Allah and reinforces the importance of discipline and spirituality in their daily lives.
