Rajasthan State Electricity Board
The Rajasthan State Electricity Board (RSEB) was established in 1957 to manage the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in the state of Rajasthan, India. It plays a crucial role in ensuring that electricity is supplied to residential, commercial, and industrial consumers across the region.
In 2000, the RSEB was unbundled into five separate companies to improve efficiency and service delivery. These companies focus on different aspects of electricity supply, including generation, transmission, and distribution, thereby enhancing the overall performance of the state's electricity sector.
