Radiographic Methods
Radiographic methods are techniques used to create images of the internal structures of objects, including the human body. These methods utilize various forms of radiation, such as X-rays, to penetrate materials and produce images on film or digital sensors. Common applications include medical diagnostics, where radiologists interpret images to identify conditions like fractures or tumors.
In addition to traditional X-rays, other radiographic methods include computed tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). CT scans provide cross-sectional images, while MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of soft tissues. These methods enhance diagnostic accuracy and aid in treatment planning.
