Radiographic Imaging
Radiographic imaging is a medical technique that uses X-rays to create images of the inside of the body. This process helps healthcare professionals diagnose and monitor various conditions, such as fractures, infections, and tumors. The images produced can reveal important information about bones, organs, and tissues.
During a radiographic imaging procedure, a patient is positioned between an X-ray machine and a digital detector. The machine emits a small amount of radiation, which passes through the body and captures images on the detector. These images are then analyzed by radiologists, who are specialists in interpreting medical images.
