Radcliffe Observatory
The Radcliffe Observatory is an astronomical observatory located in Oxford, England. Established in 1772, it was built to provide a facility for the study of astronomy and to support the work of the Oxford University Department of Astrophysics. The observatory features a notable telescope, which was used for various astronomical observations.
In 1934, the observatory ceased its primary astronomical functions and was repurposed for other scientific research. Today, the site is home to the Radcliffe Science Library, which supports the academic community at Oxford University by providing access to scientific literature and resources.
