Rabbi Moshe Feinstein
Rabbi Moshe Feinstein (1895-1986) was a prominent Orthodox Jewish rabbi and halachic authority. Born in what is now Ukraine, he later moved to the United States, where he became a leading figure in Jewish law and ethics. His works, particularly the Igrot Moshe, are widely respected and continue to influence Jewish legal decisions today.
Feinstein was known for his ability to address contemporary issues within the framework of traditional Jewish law. He served as the rabbi of the Lower East Side in New York City and was instrumental in establishing Jewish educational institutions, helping to shape modern Orthodox Judaism in America.
