ROV Jason
ROV Jason is a remotely operated vehicle designed for deep-sea exploration. Developed by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, it can dive to depths of over 6,500 meters. Equipped with cameras and scientific instruments, Jason helps researchers study underwater ecosystems and geological formations.
Jason is often used in conjunction with the research vessel Atlantis, allowing scientists to conduct detailed investigations of the ocean floor. Its ability to operate in extreme conditions makes it a valuable tool for marine research, contributing to our understanding of oceanography and marine biology.
