RMS Queen Elizabeth
The RMS Queen Elizabeth was a British ocean liner launched in 1938 by the Cunard Line. It was one of the largest and most luxurious ships of its time, designed for transatlantic passenger service. The ship could accommodate over 2,000 passengers and was known for its elegant interiors and advanced technology.
During World War II, the Queen Elizabeth was converted into a troopship, transporting soldiers across the Atlantic. After the war, it returned to commercial service until it was retired in 1968. The ship was eventually sold and caught fire in 1972 while docked in Hong Kong.
