RIPE NCC
The RIPE NCC (Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Centre) is a not-for-profit organization that manages and allocates Internet Protocol (IP) address resources in Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Central Asia. It plays a crucial role in supporting the growth and stability of the Internet by providing services to its members, which include Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and other organizations.
Founded in 1992, the RIPE NCC also facilitates collaboration among network operators and promotes best practices in Internet governance. It organizes training sessions, workshops, and conferences, such as the RIPE Meetings, to foster knowledge sharing and community engagement within the Internet ecosystem.
