RCCB
An RCCB, or Residual Current Circuit Breaker, is a safety device used in electrical installations. Its primary function is to detect imbalances in electrical current, which can indicate a fault, such as a short circuit or leakage to the ground. When it senses this imbalance, the RCCB quickly disconnects the electrical supply, helping to prevent electric shocks and reduce the risk of electrical fires.
RCCBs are commonly used in residential and commercial buildings to enhance electrical safety. They are often installed alongside other protective devices, such as MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers), to provide comprehensive protection for electrical circuits and ensure the safety of users.
