Röntgenaufnahmen
Röntgenaufnahmen, commonly known as X-rays, are a type of imaging technique that uses radiation to create pictures of the inside of the body. This method is particularly useful for examining bones, detecting fractures, and identifying certain medical conditions. The images are produced when X-ray beams pass through the body and are captured on a special film or digital sensor.
During a Röntgen examination, the patient typically stands or lies down while the X-ray machine is positioned over the area of interest. The procedure is quick and painless, although patients may be asked to hold their breath for a few seconds to ensure clear images.
