Quranic Preservation
Quranic Preservation refers to the methods used to maintain the integrity and authenticity of the Quran, the holy book of Islam. This preservation has been achieved through both oral and written means. From the time of the Prophet Muhammad, his companions memorized the verses, ensuring they were passed down accurately.
In addition to memorization, the Quran was compiled into written form shortly after the Prophet's death. Various manuscripts were created, and a standardized version was established during the caliphate of Uthman ibn Affan. This careful process has helped maintain the Quran's original message for over 1,400 years.
