Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is a governing body in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). It consists of twelve men who are considered to be special witnesses of Jesus Christ. Members of this quorum are called to serve as leaders and to help guide the church in its mission and teachings.
Each apostle is chosen by the church's president and is expected to fulfill their duties with dedication. The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles plays a crucial role in church governance, alongside the First Presidency, which includes the church president and his counselors.
