Quebec Nordiques
The Quebec Nordiques were a professional ice hockey team based in Quebec City, Canada. They were founded in 1972 and played in the World Hockey Association (WHA) before joining the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1979. The team was known for its passionate fan base and vibrant blue and white colors.
In 1995, the Nordiques relocated to Denver, Colorado, becoming the Colorado Avalanche. During their time in Quebec, the team had notable players like Peter Stastny and Joe Sakic. The Nordiques' legacy remains significant in the history of hockey in Canada.
