Quarter Dollar
A Quarter Dollar is a coin worth 25 cents in the United States currency system. It is one of the four main denominations of coins, alongside the penny, nickel, and dime. The quarter is made primarily of a copper-nickel alloy and features various designs, including the iconic image of George Washington on the front, which has been in use since 1932.
The U.S. Mint produces quarters, and they are commonly used in everyday transactions. Over the years, special series have been released, such as the 50 State Quarters program, which celebrated each state with unique designs on the reverse side of the coin.
