Qiyam-ul-Lail
Qiyam-ul-Lail, also known as the Night Prayer, is a special form of worship in Islam performed during the night. It involves offering voluntary prayers, particularly after the obligatory Isha prayer and before the Fajr prayer. This practice is highly encouraged, especially during the last third of the night, when it is believed that prayers are more likely to be accepted.
The significance of Qiyam-ul-Lail is highlighted in various Hadiths, where it is described as a means of seeking closeness to Allah and gaining spiritual rewards. Many Muslims engage in this practice during the month of Ramadan, particularly in the form of Tarawih prayers, which are performed in congregation after Isha.
