Qi charging
Qi charging is a wireless charging technology that allows devices to charge without needing a physical connection. It uses electromagnetic fields to transfer energy between a charging pad and a compatible device, such as a smartphone or smartwatch. This method is convenient, as users can simply place their device on the charging pad to start charging.
The Qi standard was developed by the Wireless Power Consortium and is widely adopted by many electronics manufacturers. Devices that support Qi charging typically have a built-in receiver, enabling them to receive power from Qi-compatible chargers. This technology promotes ease of use and reduces wear on charging ports.
