Qatar Football Association
The Qatar Football Association (QFA) is the governing body for football in Qatar. Established in 1960, it oversees all aspects of the sport, including the organization of domestic leagues, national teams, and youth development programs. The QFA is responsible for promoting football at all levels and ensuring the growth of the sport in the country.
In addition to managing local competitions, the QFA represents Qatar in international football organizations, such as FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation. The association plays a crucial role in preparing the national team for international tournaments and has been instrumental in the country's successful bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
