Puyehue
Puyehue is a stratovolcano located in the Andes mountain range in southern Chile. It stands at an elevation of 2,240 meters (7,350 feet) and is part of the Puyehue-Cordón Caulle volcanic complex. The volcano is known for its beautiful landscapes, including lush forests and hot springs, making it a popular destination for tourists and nature enthusiasts.
The last significant eruption of Puyehue occurred in June 2011, which caused widespread ashfall and affected air travel in the region. The surrounding area is also home to the Puyehue National Park, which offers various outdoor activities such as hiking, birdwatching, and enjoying the natural hot springs.
