Punji Sticks
Punji sticks are sharp, pointed stakes made from wood or bamboo, often used as a type of trap in warfare or hunting. They are typically placed in the ground, camouflaged with leaves or dirt, to injure or incapacitate unsuspecting individuals or animals that step on them.
These traps have been used historically in various conflicts, particularly in Vietnam War and other guerrilla warfare scenarios. Their simplicity and effectiveness make them a low-cost option for defense, although they can pose significant risks to both attackers and innocent bystanders.
