Pulp Production
Pulp production is the process of converting raw materials, primarily wood, into pulp, which is a fibrous material used to make paper. The process typically involves debarking the wood, chipping it into small pieces, and then cooking it with chemicals or using mechanical methods to separate the cellulose fibers from lignin and other components.
Once the wood chips are processed, the resulting pulp can be bleached to achieve the desired whiteness and then dried into sheets. This pulp can be used to produce various types of paper products, including newsprint, cardboard, and printing paper.
