Pullela Gopichand
Pullela Gopichand is a former Indian badminton player and current coach, known for his significant contributions to the sport in India. He won the prestigious All England Open Badminton Championships in 2001, becoming the second Indian to achieve this feat. Gopichand has also represented India in various international tournaments, helping to raise the profile of badminton in the country.
After retiring from professional play, Gopichand established the Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad, which has produced several top players, including Saina Nehwal and Kidambi Srikanth.
