Pulcheria
Pulcheria was a Byzantine empress born around 399 AD, known for her strong influence in the Eastern Roman Empire. She was the daughter of Emperor Arcadius and Empress Aelia Eudoxia. Pulcheria became the regent for her younger brother, Emperor Theodosius II, after their father's death, effectively ruling the empire during his minority.
Pulcheria was a devout Christian and played a significant role in promoting the faith within the empire. She was instrumental in the establishment of the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD, which addressed important theological disputes. Her reign is noted for its political stability and religious reforms.
