Pterodactyl
The Pterodactyl is a type of flying reptile that lived during the late Jurassic and early Cretaceous periods, around 150 million years ago. It is part of a larger group called pterosaurs, which were the first vertebrates to evolve powered flight. Pterodactyls had long wings made of skin and muscle, supported by an elongated fourth finger.
These creatures varied in size, with some having wingspans of up to 33 feet. They primarily fed on fish and other small animals, using their sharp beaks to catch prey. Fossils of Pterodactyls have been found in Europe and North America, providing valuable insights into their anatomy and behavior.
