Prosauropods
Prosauropods were a group of early herbivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Late Triassic to Early Jurassic periods. They were characterized by their long necks, small heads, and large bodies, which allowed them to reach high vegetation. Prosauropods are considered ancestors to the more advanced sauropods, which included some of the largest dinosaurs.
These dinosaurs were primarily bipedal but could also walk on all fours. Their teeth were adapted for grinding plant material, indicating a diet of leaves and other vegetation. Fossils of prosauropods have been found in various locations, providing valuable insights into the evolution of sauropodomorphs.
