Proof of Staked Authority
Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) is a consensus mechanism that combines elements of both Proof of Stake and Delegated Proof of Stake. In this system, validators are chosen based on the amount of cryptocurrency they hold and are willing to "stake" as collateral. This encourages participants to act honestly, as they risk losing their staked assets if they behave maliciously.
In PoSA, users can delegate their stakes to trusted validators, who then validate transactions and create new blocks. This approach enhances network security and efficiency while allowing more participants to engage in the process without needing extensive technical knowledge.
