Projective Test
A Projective Test is a psychological assessment tool used to evaluate a person's personality, emotions, and thoughts. It involves presenting ambiguous stimuli, such as pictures or words, to individuals, who then project their own feelings and interpretations onto these stimuli. This method is based on the idea that people will reveal their inner thoughts and conflicts through their responses.
Common examples of projective tests include the Rorschach Inkblot Test and the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT). These tests are often used in clinical settings to gain insights into a person's psyche, helping psychologists understand underlying issues that may not be easily expressed through direct questioning.
