Project Management Cycle
The Project Management Cycle is a structured approach to managing projects effectively. It typically consists of five phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closure. Each phase plays a crucial role in ensuring that the project meets its objectives, stays on schedule, and remains within budget.
During the Initiation phase, the project’s feasibility and goals are defined. The Planning phase involves outlining tasks, resources, and timelines. In the Execution phase, the project team carries out the plan. The Monitoring and Controlling phase ensures progress is tracked and adjustments are made as needed. Finally, the Closure phase wraps up the project, evaluating its success and documenting lessons learned.
