Progressive Scan
Progressive scan is a method of displaying images in which each frame is drawn line by line in sequence. Unlike interlaced scanning, which displays alternating lines, progressive scan provides a smoother and clearer image, especially during fast motion. This technique is commonly used in modern televisions and computer monitors.
In progressive scan, all the lines of a frame are refreshed at once, resulting in less flicker and improved detail. It is particularly beneficial for video games and high-definition video, where clarity and fluidity are essential for an enhanced viewing experience.
