Proetus
Proetus is a figure from Greek mythology, known as a king of Argos. He was the son of Abas and the twin brother of Crisus. Proetus is often associated with the myth of the Gorgon Medusa, as he was involved in her story by sending the hero Perseus to retrieve her head.
In addition to his connection to Medusa, Proetus is also known for his conflict with his brother, which led to a series of events involving madness and curses. His reign is marked by themes of rivalry and transformation, reflecting the complex nature of Greek myths and their characters.
