Private First Class
Private First Class (PFC) is a military rank in the United States Army, typically the second rank for enlisted soldiers. It follows the rank of Private and precedes Specialist or Corporal. A PFC usually has more responsibilities than a Private and may lead small teams or assist in training new recruits.
To achieve the rank of PFC, soldiers must complete basic training and serve a minimum time in the Army. Promotion to this rank is often based on time in service and performance. PFCs play a crucial role in supporting their units and executing various tasks essential to military operations.
