Prism Volume
The volume of a prism is calculated by multiplying the area of its base by its height. A prism is a three-dimensional shape with two parallel, congruent bases connected by rectangular faces. The formula for the volume is V = B × h, where V is the volume, B is the area of the base, and h is the height of the prism.
Different types of prisms exist, such as triangular prisms and rectangular prisms, each defined by the shape of their bases. To find the volume, first determine the area of the base shape, then multiply that area by the height of the prism.
