Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research
The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) program was established at Princeton University in 1979 to investigate the potential influence of human consciousness on physical systems. Researchers conducted experiments to explore whether mental intention could affect random number generators and other devices, aiming to understand the relationship between mind and matter.
PEAR's studies combined elements of psychology, physics, and engineering, seeking to provide empirical evidence for phenomena often considered paranormal. The program concluded in 2007, but its findings continue to spark interest in the fields of parapsychology and consciousness research, raising questions about the limits of scientific understanding.
