Princess Tiana is a character from Disney's animated film, The Princess and the Frog, released in 2009. She is known for her hardworking and ambitious nature, dreaming of opening her own restaurant in New Orleans. Tiana is the first African American Disney princess, and her story is inspired by the classic fairy tale, The Frog Prince. In the film, Tiana's life changes when she meets a prince who has been transformed into a frog. To break the spell, she kisses him, but instead, she also turns into a frog. Together, they embark on an adventure in the bayou, learning valuable lessons about love, friendship, and following their dreams.
