Princess Sophia of Prussia
Princess Sophia of Prussia was born on June 14, 1870, as the daughter of Prince Friedrich Karl of Prussia and Princess Maria Anna of Anhalt. She was a member of the German royal family and a granddaughter of Emperor Wilhelm I. Sophia was known for her charitable work and involvement in social causes.
In 1892, she married Grand Duke Michael of Russia, becoming a Grand Duchess. The couple had three children and lived in Russia until the Russian Revolution in 1917. After the revolution, they moved to Germany, where Sophia continued her philanthropic efforts until her death on March 13, 1932.
