Princess Maud of Wales
Princess Maud of Wales was born on November 26, 1869, as the daughter of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. She was a member of the British royal family and became known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes.
In 1896, Maud married Prince Carl of Sweden, who later became King Haakon VII of Norway. After her husband's ascension to the Norwegian throne in 1905, she became Queen Maud of Norway. She played a significant role in promoting Norwegian culture and strengthening ties between Norway and Britain until her death on November 20, 1938.
