Princess Mary of Teck
Princess Mary of Teck, born on July 26, 1867, was a British royal who became the Queen Consort of King George V. She was the daughter of Francis, Duke of Teck and Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge. Mary married George in 1893 and played a significant role in royal duties, especially during World War I.
As Queen Consort, Mary was known for her dedication to charitable work and her support of the British Red Cross. She was also instrumental in modernizing the royal family’s image. Mary passed away on March 24, 1953, leaving a lasting legacy in the British monarchy.
